The meaning and importance of true love

I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for that part of me you bring out.
-Elizabeth Barrett Browning

If you have read the above quote well, I am sure you have understood the meaning of true love. It's not too tough to earn million dollars, it may take you few years to accumulate the amount of wealth you ever wanted to have. However, it's never been easy to find true love. It's never been easy to find a person who smiles when you smile, who cries when you cry, who feels sad when you are sad. It's true that money can buy many things but it cannot buy everything. Real happiness is when you have somebody to share it. Alone we can never be happy. We cannot celebrate it.

We need to understand the value of true relationship and take it as a blessings of God!

Who is a real saint?

While I was enlightening my students on life skills, one of them asked me ‘Who is a real saint? Can I be a saint?
I am not a philosopher but I tried explaining it in a very simple way: I asked him to tell me the characteristic of saints. He said; ‘They wear some special clothes so that they can look like saints. Anybody can recognize them by looking at their clothes. At this, I explained, you do not need to wear some special clothes to act like a saint. The most important character which a real saint has or you should have is willingness to help others; sacrifice. If helping others gives you happiness, you’re very much like a saint inside You become a real saint by sharing others’ sorrow and helping them overcome the difficult phases of their lives not by showcasing your outer part to the world. A real saint is he who believes in taking others pain, who believes in sacrifice and want to make the entire world a better place for others.
You can still practice a life of a saint while you are taking care of your day to day professional and personal challenges!

I work, I learn, I grow

“The harder you work, the luckier you get.” - Gary Player. How true? There is no reason why one should give up it is just that one should try a little harder and harder till the time you get it. The world’s famous personality be it inventors or be it wealth creators or be it anybody who have achieved heights in their lives, they all have failed before they could achieve success not once or twice but en number of times that you and I could not imagine. However, there was one thing common among all of them, they did not give up. They had strong faith in their dreams and tremendous confidence to make their dream come true.
“Winner never quit and quitters never win.” – Vince Lombardi
The funda to win is work harder, learn from your mistakes, stay around your dream and get it.

A little change around you makes a lot of difference!

A little change around you makes a lot of difference in you attitude. Let me share a live example with you. The first thing that I do when I open my laptop is; I change the background image of my computer. Here is a thing; when I change the background I make sure that it should be highly motivating such a man climbing the mountain, a blooming flower, running fish etc etc. Computer is a thing which is very close to you. You spend almost 6-8 hours in a day in office with your computer. The next thing I do is; I put some new things to my desk or stick some motivational quotes. When I go for a meeting or for something very special I wear my favourite clothes so that I can feel confident and enthusiastic.

A person should learn how to keep himself motivated wherever he or she is.

Get people listen to you!

DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER:

You do not lead by hitting people over the head - that's assault, not leadership.

You cannot have one's will or dedication toward a work until or unless one is interested in doing that work. Get people listen to you. Be interested in people and listen them up and they'll listen to you. They'll be your follower forever if you get them interested in you. They can only be interested in listening to you when they feel that they are being listened by you. You listen to what they have to say, you care for them. When they feel you're genuinely interested in helping them out. Simply put, if you want to be respected, you've to respect others.

Every person wants to be heard before he/she can hear you!

Frustration

Getting frustrated is quite natural. It’s purely human. So I would not say that you should not get frustrated. Frustrations and failures help you reveal the true potentials in you. It helps you get the best in you. Anthony (Tony) Robbins says “I've come to believe that all my past failures and frustrations were actually laying the foundation for the understandings that have created the new level of living I now enjoy.

Get frustrated but don’t give up.
