-Elizabeth Barrett Browning
Leadership cannot be taught. I believe every person is a leader provided he/she is interested in taking responsibilities, accepting challenges and is ready to go for some extra miles. To show leadership quality or to become a leader, you do not need to be at the top rather to reach the top you need to show leadership quality in each and everything you do. No matter what you are doing, or wherever you are!

Get people listen to you!
You do not lead by hitting people over the head - that's assault, not leadership.
You cannot have one's will or dedication toward a work until or unless one is interested in doing that work. Get people listen to you. Be interested in people and listen them up and they'll listen to you. They'll be your follower forever if you get them interested in you. They can only be interested in listening to you when they feel that they are being listened by you. You listen to what they have to say, you care for them. When they feel you're genuinely interested in helping them out. Simply put, if you want to be respected, you've to respect others.
Every person wants to be heard before he/she can hear you!

Frustration
Getting frustrated is quite natural. It’s purely human. So I would not say that you should not get frustrated. Frustrations and failures help you reveal the true potentials in you. It helps you get the best in you. Anthony (Tony) Robbins says “I've come to believe that all my past failures and frustrations were actually laying the foundation for the understandings that have created the new level of living I now enjoy.
Get frustrated but don’t give up.
